My husband and I jumped into buying a house in pa. At the time it seemed perfect. Perfect location and greatest investment. We at the time were waiting for our credit to imporve so we took a rent to own option. The house had a sign that said buy from owner when we bought it. After signing a 3 year lease with the option to buy we found out the house is ridiculously over priced and then while looking over the howard hanna realty website realied our house is still listed as an active house to buy….is this a breach of contract and should we be concerned about this??? We really would like to get out of this lease for many reasons plus our ill parents now need us closer to home. Any help woul be appreciated.

I was out of the country for 3 years and while I was gone I hired a property management company to rent out my house. When I returned I discovered they had misplaced all the original pictures and walkthough info – so now I am having trouble claiming damages against tenant for missing property (as he wants proof.) There were also repairs that were either never done or not done until months later resulting in more damage – even though numerous requests were made by me.. They failed to noticed the tenants had pets, also failed to notice bathroom water damage and mold. Repairs were also made without my prior approval – even though my contract says any amount over $200 has to be okayed by owner unless it is an emergency. The property managers are in breach of contract as they did not show due diligence in the management of my property as per contract. Can I take them to small claims court for a percentage of the fee I paid them to manage my property?
they told me that the 1st manager II had through them probably shredded the original photos and paperwork, as it was discovered later that she had mental issues. so there were alot of items the tenant took, and as I don’t have the original paperwork, I can’t claim against tenant – but it is the managers responsibilty to keep this information. So I am trying to claim off them.
