I live in wisconsin and i rent an apartment. I found a house i want to buy but i have my lease until july. Is there any type of addendum or clause that lets you break your lease early just strictly when buying a house?

I might be transferring to a job somewhere else. Can I break a lease legally in california.

We just rented a house that I don’t believe is up to code in the electrical department. If it’s not can we break the lease? I live in Texas.

My landlord refuses to fix anything in our house, the porch if falling apart we have to use the back door, the bathroom floor is sinking, the light in the living room doesn’t work the is water in the 1/2 bath light fixure, no smoke alarm, no screen in any windows the front door leaks bad, Please help how to get out of this legally.

If a homeowner hires a property manager to rent his home, and the renters break the lease halfway through the rental period, does the property manager still have to pay the owner for the full rental period?

We signed a lease on a house that will expire on April 30 2010, however the landlord just informed us that the house was sold and that we will need to vacate by the end of November? Can he do this?

I have a lease until December 09 on a property. The lease says that there is a $500 early termination fee plus you have to pay rent and advertising costs until the place is rented. My family and I are looking at buying a home rather than renting and may have to break the lease in order to do so.
How long can a landlord charge you rent/advertising fees before it is unreasonable? The property management company has a long list of rentals that have been vacant for quite some time and I am concerned that they don’t make much of an effort to rent the properties, so I don’t want to be on the hook indefinitely while they make little effort to rent the place.
