I will be in the area from 4-14 Feb’08 and I must find a place to rent during this time. It must be near town centre in any village or town in this area. All I need is to be within easy access to the motorway and not too far from any of the airports. The agents keep on sending me available property that is far above my affordable budget. I just need a small place as it is only myself and my old cat and my husband to live in it…I am 55 and my husband is 63. We are both working.I am desperate and it is vital and urgent that we find a place during this coming week!

The home that I rent has just begun the process of foreclosure. Can I legaly get out of my lease before the house is taken or due I have to fullfill the lease. There has not been a date of sale set but it’s in the process.

I only have enough money for a down payment but I still have to borrow a considerable amount. But according to the banks I dont make enough to buy a house. But I know once I get the house the tenents rent will pay my mortgage. Why isnt this enough for the banks? Is it legal to create a business, buy a house using the business, then rent it to myself?

My employer has taken my house on lease.Gives some rent to me. This house is alloted to me to reside.This a case of self lease.Employer deduct 10% of my basic pay from my salary for providing leased accomodation.

For the purpose of income tax calculation,employer considers:-

1)Salary with out deducting 10% as above under salary income

2)Takes total lease rent given to me under house property income.

Am I not taxed more for considering my full salary?

Answer should be justified by indicating section of Indian Income Tax Act.

I have not been able to rent or sell my house and had to do repairs, they cut the air conditioning power lines, ruptured my sprinklers and the landscaping is dead. Can I sue in small claims for the cost of lost rent and repairs? They are also claiming bankruptcy, what happens now? My property is in California.
