I’m buying house that I have been renting for over a year. I will be closing in the next couple of days. My lease has expired and I was paying rent in month to month basis. However do I have to pay November’s rent from the 1st until closing day if the property is going to be mine. Any help will be appreciated.

Am I obligated to pay rent on a house I am leasing in CA if the house is currently in foreclosure and going on the auction block next month? I’m told conflicting information. I’ve heard I’m bound to the lease I signed and other people tell me that in the state of CA the lease is void if the house is in foreclosure. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
