I live in Arizona. Can anyone help me? I thought that losing job is reason to get out of lease.

In one year I will have $10,000 saved up from my job. However, the 98 van I am driving will most likely last another two years, maybe three. Should I take the $10,000 and spend it on a economic car, or buy land for future home, double my profits, and have property and then have some left over for a car.

Now land is cheap where I live in the armpit of Alamosa, CO. I saw 40 acres the other day for only $8900. There are some good deals here and there. I also have a friend who bought 80 acres for only 19,000 five years ago and nothing is wrong with the property, the owner just had to sell fast.

ive been looking around for descent music lessons.
(private singing lessons).
and the minimum i would have to go is an hour and 10min away.

dont get me wrong i would do it in a heart beat.
but my parents are strange, they think going somewhere thats 20min away is an eternity in the car.

and on top of that they dont let me go out my life is school, home, and church. and right now im out for summer vacation. and no my church does not have a choir, and trust me the pastors wouldn’t start one.

im going to call to ask for the cost in a while, but my parents are also kinda cheap they think anything that cost more than $5.00 is expensive.

im 16, so im trying to get a job, so i would be able to pay. i asked my mom but she avoided the question, like she always does when she thinks something is not a good idea. i guess i’ll ask my dad when he gets home, but im pretty sure his answer will be the same.

ive wanted to be a musician since i was 5. ilove music and ive finally deiced to get up and try instead of feeling defeated because i have no support.

my questions are:
how much do private signing lesson cost?
how long did it take you (or someone you know) to become good?
are youtube singing lessons good?
do you think its too late for me to start lessons?
and do you think their might be anyway to convince my parents to let me do this?
(yeahh their kinda impossible, they think that anyone who isnt them is inferior, and ignorant)

My parents had to sell their house fast to move due to the mortgage. We now live in a rented property. It rent i think is round 1400 or maybe less a month or every 6 months. My dad was self employed before, working as a taxi driver and as we moved to a new area, had to give it up so hes now jobless. Hes on a course to become a driver instructor but it takes a long time.

He hasnt got a job currently but is searching for one but as hes been self employed for over 20 years and is now 58, the odds are against him. my mom cannot work due to health problems and i cant work as i have studies to do.

We’re living on what our old house sold for, which last year was 30,000 and i believe is now around 10,000. My parents told me today that we cant buy alot and can only spend 20 a day on food and 70 at the weekend.

I feel like we’re heading fast into being poor. We’re moving again next year to a final place for good but what can we do now?

I have been married for 18 years and learned my husband has not been honest about our finances. I have always let him pay the main bills. He makes 80,000 and I make about 20,000. I just did a budget and found out we are 800 short a month. Our take home is 4900 and our bills are about 5800. We do not drive new cars and take vacations. It seems 100,000 does not seem to be enough when you have a home, 25,000 in student loans and a child in private school. He has never managed money well, but I am shocked to learn that he took money out of our 401K and has 23,000 in credit card dept. He is a great dad, but has a hard time telling the kids no. I told him we could sell our home and pay off the dept, or my son who has some special needs could go back to a public school. He does not want to sell or send our son back. Divorce is too much money and he does not want to go into counseling. I also feel divorce would be bad for the kids and my job does not have any health insurance.

If sea level rises due to global warming, then lots of property all over the country, and the world, will get destroyed. Just like so much property in New Orleans. But until recently I lived in a nice shore town, and if I still had a job there I would have considered eventually buying a house there, fully aware of what could happen in the next few decades.
BeachSaint, I wish I could agree, but not everyone has enough money to live for the moment, especially when it comes to buying a house.

Yeah, I got layed off with 163 other folks, but I had just renewed my lease on the house I stay in. Is the loss of a job on one of two married tenants’ source of income grounds for getting out of a lease?
