So I’m about to rent a house for the first time. What is this process typically like? How long is a typical lease? Is it possible to get a lease for an odd amount of time, such as 13 months? How much do utilities usually run? Thanks for any answers!
I am looking to rent a house, but the rent is really cheap. Almost to good to be true. Is there a site or service I can find to help me look up the property and owner? I don’t want to move in and find out I have to leave if the owner has gone bankrupt. Thanks!
My room mate and i rent a house and we found out that the house isn’t mortgaged as rental property, it’s just listed as our LL being the primary dweller of the residence. From what I’ve gathered by different sites and info, is that a person with a mortgage has to go to their lender and get a consent to lease before they can rent out their house? if this is correct is the lease we signed even legally binding?
i live in a house that is behind another. we have a walk way that leads striaght to our house and theres a small section of grass and dirt to the left of the walk way, when going towords the house, that our neighbor claims is his. We feel that we don’t have a yard or anything to plant that the piece in question should belong to us and we should be able to do with what we want, with out haveing plants dug up or decorations took out
the person that lives in front and myself rent from the same person but the landlord doesn’t return any calls from me she calls the neighbor to find out the problems and concerns. so asking the landlord about who has what would cause problems with the neighbor and i don’t need that
I’m about to sign a lease to rent a house. the guy originally wanted a 12 month lease from May-May but now that it’s almost halfway through May, do I get an 11 month lease?
I know some students who rent a house from agency. They then advertise to get some tenants to share the house. To agency, only their names known. Because they are students, they get easier on tax. What about tenants who come and not students?
Is it illegal?
