Hello, I would like to stay in America for twelve months I am a citizen of the UK I live there and am wanting to stay in America for 12 months without getting a green card can I rent a property and buy a car, I am unsure and do not know how I would do this can somebody help me

I’m going to rent property in Singapore using an agent. The house costs SGD3.5k a month. Will I need to pay the agent’s fee? I believe that there’s some proviso saying that if an apartment costs X amount of money, you dont need to pay an agent fee.

I want to rent my house out but have a mortgage. i know i need to inform them for insurance reasons but will they charge additional interest or fees?

I’m 18 (UK), with a full time job with a pretty good income. I have no major outgoings and as there is more to getting a mortgage/paying rent.. how much on average do bills cost monthly? And other necessities? I am toying with the idea of moving out should it be feasible.

Some home owners rent their property with the option of lease to own. A part of the rent goes towards the actual rent, while a part of it goes towards the equity of the house. Is the renter supposed to buy the house after a couple of years (say 2 years) by paying one bulk amount towards the remainder equity? Or can the renter continue to pay small amounts towards the equity each month until (say in 20 years) he/she has 100% equity? I want to buy a house eventually but I do not want to finance from bank. I want to keep paying small amounts from the rent towards equity directly to the owner. Do some landlords make agreements like that? My landlord wants to sell me her house, so I want to ask her if she will make an agreement like this with me. THank you in advance for your responses!

I saw an ad in the paper for a rent to own the rent is 1200 a month. Does that get applied to the sale price or part of that does. How does this normanly work? Thanks for the help.

My brother and I inherited our dad’s share of family farm property on which there are no liens. Our aunt (his sister) owns the other half and is in poor health and not in good financial shape. Is there a way to cash out her interest (like a reverse mortgage) and still retain our 50% ownership. We do not have the cash to buy her out. We currently cash rent the property to a farmer and make enough income to pay expenses and earn a small profit.

I can’t find very much on craigslist. I’m looking for areas to rent where homes are well under $1000 a month. Would love to find a 2 bed room home or farm house for $300 a month that isn’t in the slums . Any area suggestions? I’m open to all states.

So right now i am trying to get some ideas of how to present a fair deal to my landlord and allow me to save some money. What would ba restructered fair payment that would benefit the both of us?
