Can I receive living out allowance and buy house in Fort Mcmurray?
I am living in Fort Mc and claim LOA. I have my permanent resident in Edmonton (I am renting) and now I m planing to buy a house in Fort Mc. Is there any way I can do this without loosing LOA? There has to be a way around. Can someone please let me know??

You may be able to claim it as a second home. However it is well worth your while to consult with a tax/real estate lawyer to make sure your chosen strategy is correct. Definitely do not take the word of a real estate agent.
