Can someone who is not on the bank house note be one the rental lease agreement?

I bought a house a few months back and i rented it out. I have a lease agreement on the house and the people are always late, so I ready to give them the boot and move in. The only thing is, my now ex boyfriend, put his name and my name on the lease. Since he is not on the bank note do this make this contract legal??? What can i do?? I have already sent the people living in the house a 3 day notice to vacate.

    if u have a lease agreement u can only evict for non payment not bc their late. if u accept their funds this still constitutes as payment. so u must refuse to accept their rent if it is late. a 3 day notice is a pay or quit notice for unpaid rent. then u must give them 30 days eviction. then u take that paper and file a court date in ur county court office. after the judge orders and eviction u give it to the sheriff who comes to the proerty andphyscially removes them.

    If he is not your agent, he has no right to put his name on the lease. Follow through with your eviction of your tenants.

    Why the heck did you put his name on the lease if he doesn’t own the house?

    If you did not form a company with him and he is not acting as a property manager for pay, then I don’t think his name being on that lease means anything because he’s not an owner. You might want to call a lawyer and check with him/her just to be sure.
