Is it legal for a real estate agent to list my house for lease to get people to call him?
My house is listed in a real estate agent’s paper saying it’s for lease. He says it is to get people to call, then he’ll say it’s no longer available, but he has others. My neighbors think I’m moving now!

it is a scam. realtors that need to use tricks and bate and switch are not realtors you need to be in bed with. cancel your listing agreement get a different agent. ASAP. if he scams people who is to say he wont scam you.

That is illegal unless you have a listing for a rental with that realtor. If he is using your home as a listing without your permission he can be sued by you.
