On some lease properties, there is a health warning stating the materials used can cause cancer?
Is this true for all newly built properties or just specific ones?

Usually those sorts of warnings refer to older properties which were built with asbestos before the health risks became clear. The United States Environmental Protection Agency issued their Asbestos Ban and Phase Out Rule in 1989, and building work involving asbestos has decreased since, so most newer properties are not constructed with asbestos. However, because the ban was overturned in 1991, asbestos is still used in construction, especially in cladding and pipework. Some construction companies will avoid it altogether now, but others use it.
