ECHO home? This is a small cottage you put on your property to house an elderly parent? Where can I buy one?
I’ve found many articles on what they are, but cannot locate any companies in the PA area who sell or rent them?

Sounds like a dog house or something, why not just let them live in your home?

You can find them by typing in “storage sheds”. Also “Tiny Living Spaces” or “Small Living Spaces, workshops & sheds”. You can get plans to built or buy them in kits or delivered to your property. There are 1,000′s to chose from…happy searching.

All I can suggest is ask Home Depot. I know they have screened lanais….but I’d be afraid to put an extra cottage (unattached) on a property for an elder, or even attached if you don’t see them all the time because as they age they might dementia or alzheimers and walk off. It would be better if you can add a room or use a spare room for the time that elderly person has left to live, or if they like doing things on their own howe about an Assisted Living Facility (ALF)? Sometimes elders start stuff like trying to rewire the house when you’re not looking so it would be better if they were in your view instead of next door. These days too elders get taken. I’d just be afraid to give them a cottage next door.
