Do I have to pay a condominium assessment before I sell the property?

sell my property

I am currently selling a condo in South Florida, this property has 2 assessments in place, the buyer has agreed to go half on the repayment of the assessments; do I have to pay the assessment before the sale of the property is completed?

at some time before the transfer of title the assessments will need to be paid in order to have clear title

most likely at closing before you get your check the assessment monies will be taken out of it
