Is it legal to have an Ice Cream truck sell ice cream on school property?
(In the sense of medical issues i.e. diabetes, etc.) is it legal to sell ice cream (ice cream truck) on school property (after school.) Furthermore, is it legal to call an ice cream truck owner and tell him to come to school property and sell ice cream?
ps. i’m not an ice cream salesman. i’m a student. and I have the ice cream truck’s number, so i can call him and whatnot.

Well they’ll probably need a sort of pass thing from the school government thing and also a CRB check would be usefull as it’s working “around” children.

There might be some school districts that have rules prohibitng sales of ice cream on school grounds, but there is no universal, world-wide law like that.

Why wouldn’t it be legal? If the ice cream truck has a license and has permission from the school to sell on their property then what would the problem be? If you have diabetes etc then simply don’t buy the ice cream and eat it.

I believe you would have to ask for the schools permission if its going to be on school grounds. But if its on the same street I believe you wouldn’t. I would check with the school or the school district on theyre rules.

i guess that would be between the school and the vender….tho i don’t think its right…not all kinds can come with money…so it might cause problems….we used to have one that stopped.. but it was off the property…and a lil down the block.. but was still close… no pressure.. on the kids..
