Have you decided not to go on a vacation this winter because of the economy? Are you concerned about your job?
Typically there are many Americans, especially from the northern states who take a winter getaway to the Caribbean, Mexico, or Hawaii. I own rental property in Mexico and we just aren’t getting the usual number of inquiries. It hasn’t been this bad since just after 9/11.

I’m retired and I’m leaving on a 10 day cruise this Friday. I have a trip planned to Florida in January and another cruise planned for February. I live in a northern state and like to get away from the cold for a little while. I think the swine flu is keeping people away from Mexico more that anything else.

No the economy has had little impact on my winter travel plans. I’m still traveling about the same as I normally would and have a few winter vacations planned. I work in the health care industry. While the economy is affecting us the job prospects are still strong.
