First off please don’t judge me I have a squeaky clean record and made a mistake and just want to know the ramifications of my actions.

My friend is a diagnosed schizophrenic but controls it very well. With medication he hasn’t shown any symptoms for over 6 years and really has had control. He’s a major pill head and goes threw depression and he primarily takes Oxy cottons and perks daily for the last few years but as I said he shows no symptoms of schizophrenic behavior.

This past weekend some friends and I were going on vacation. I know some guy that has E really cheap and he nagged me for like a week to get it for him. First I declined and after his persistence I eventually did it for him. I got him 10 E pills from my guy I get weed off and gave them to my friend. Keep in mind I did not profit off of this, I’ve never even taken E, I did not sell him the E, I simply got it for him from the guy I knew selling it.

After a couple days he had taken all of the E and was fine for a full day we actually went jet skiing ect proving he was mentally stable.

The day after in the morning (the hotel suite was under his name) he awoke to the room being trashed. The LCD screen in the room was covered in lunch meat lol and there was stuff everywhere. I told him if he didn’t clean this mess up he would get charged and he cleaned everything up. During the cleaning phase he snapped thinking the police were going to come arrest him for the damage he went nuts and went into a different world and was saying crazy stuff, I’ve never seen him like this.

We took him home immediately and found out he missed his bi-weekly shot to keep him sane. His mom asked what he took and she knows he took 10 e pills over a span of 4 days. She’s saying if he doesn’t get better she’s going to call the cops on me.

Here’s my question:

What could I be charged with given I’m not the E dealer I just got them for him, made no profit because he nagged me for like a week.

Also given that he was already diagnosed with schizophrenia and the E may have just caused a relapse or messed with his serotonin levels.

Also given that if I was asked I would just deny it, he’s 25 yrs old and is responsible for himself. I just want to be prepared for the worst in case his parents try blaming others for allowing him to be a pill head his whole life. What type of charge could they get me with I did not sell these to him I just got them for him since he didn’t know my guy. Also it didn’t cause any new damage because he was already crazy and it may have just caused him to relapse.

He’s fine now just a little delusional but if it does get worse if a prosecutor was going to reach for a crime to charge me with what would it possibly be? I can’t think of anything given these specific circumstances my main point being I did not sell them to him.

I know what I did was stupid which is why I was reluctant at first through his persistence I said screw it I would rather see him on E all weekend then nodding out on oxy cotton.
How could they charge me with illegal distribution given they have no proof? I would never admit to it and he was already crazy? You need proof to charge someone. I’m not your typical layman of the law I understand what the law encompasses and wouldn’t admit to anything given there’s no tangible proof of anything.
Ok so if police question me and I just say I gave him nothing I have no idea what you’re talking about what’s their next step? They have no evidence, and I would lawyer real fast before admitting to anything. I don’t think heresay is enough to convict someone for trafficing in the lack of concrete proof. Only an idiot would just say ok I gave them to him. How would the prosecutor go about proving something with no evidence other then my friend relapsed and was already diagnosed with skizophreia 10 years prior.
Another huge aspect to this is he took the last of his E on Friday night.

On Saturday he was fine, we went jet skiing, we went to the beach, saw 4th of july fireworks the whole night he was fine and given 24 hours the E was totally out of his system.

When he awoke on Sunday seeing the room was trashing he snapped in fear the police would come and arrest him.
His mom is a heroin addict, and gives him seboxin to help ease his addiction with oxy cottin. The problem here is if she rats on me it’s like ratting on herself.
