Made an offer on a short sale home,but now its not listed,Possibly Sold?
My parents made an offer on a home around 20 days ago,
offer expires in 25 days
Agent ,who also is the listing agent,told us we would have to wait up to 1 more month
She recently went on “vacation” just 3 days ago
i recently looked up the house online and it appears to be removed from the market,
What can be the reasons for just being gone out of the ‘blue’ besides being sold?
is it possible the bank is reviewing offers or bring it back as a forclosure?

Probably sold OR went to a foreclosure.
We experienced this once before on sending an offer on a shortsale, 1 month later the house is no longer on the market. Our agent called the listing agent and ask the status on the house, and the house was foreclosed.
We also now know what the real term of “short sale” it’s actually LONG SALE lol… It could take up to 2 months before you can even hear anything regarding on your offer. As a matter of fact, 2 of our offer are short sale.. and both are on 5th week and still no status.
Keep an eye on it though, just incase it went to foreclosure. You can resubmit your offer and since it is now bank own the process would be faster.
