I own property right next to a golf course in a rural area out in the country and would like to develope the land and build a cabin or two just as a weekend get away rental property. I am a single mom and have heard that there are several grants for women started businesses but I haven’t found them yet. My property is in East Texas and would like to know if someone could point me in the right direction.

I’m a Canadian on vacation in Europe right now. In Munich now and will be taking the train to Paris. I’ve realised that I probably packed too much clothes in my luggage. it’s too heavy and doesn’t leave much space for the clothes and things that i will be buying here. is it possible for me to take a bunch of my clothes and ship it back home in a backpack or something?? because i really won’t need the extra clothes and it is just too much space being pointlessly used. what would be the cheapest way for me to ship some of it back home so that i don’t have as much stuff to carry around??

Which rewards you like better?

#1: Owning a spacious condo overlooking Lake Ontario, getting tons of money for her hard work, owning lots of nice clothes, owning a nice luxury car, owning lots of nice stereo equipment, furniture, getting to go on alot of nice vacations and lots of rock concerts and having a ton of friends

#2: Getting little money for hard work, getting respect from your managers, supervisors and teammates, you meaning alot from your job, being one of the most dependable employees Shopko has ever had, cheap clothes, still living at your parents home, having food on the table and a roof over your head at a cheap clothes to wear and having 2 good quality friends.

I personally like the rewards in the #1 category better cause I like getting treated well for my hard work and I also want to have a ton of friends and I want to be a high class person.

Sadly I get the majority of the rewards in the #2 category and hardly any in the #1 category
I have a friend who has all of the rewards in the #1 category and I sure wish that I can live her lifestyle and get rewarded the same way she does for her hard work and she’s only a few months younger than me.

What Do I Do With My Parent’s Inheritance?
Three months ago, both my parents and 12 year old little sister were killed in a car crash. Mom and Dad left me a trust fund for my education and early life of ($470,000) and about $5.4 million in strait cash in 6 bank accounts. I also got their three houses (an Oregon home appraised at $1.8 million) and a winter vacation home (appraised at $979,000 in Hawaii), and an Alaska summer home (appraised at 2.2 million). There is about $260,000 worth of stocks from Exxon Mobile, Apple, and Dell as well. All the homes are fully paid off and there is no mortgage debt. I was left with three cars, four snow mobiles, and our family sail boat/RV. I am 18 and about to go off to college in California. I am still really depressed and the thought of their money makes me kind of sick right now. I am wondering what I should do or how I should manage it all??? Should I give it all to charity? Or sell the homes? Do I have to pay taxes?

Any suggestions?

As an American I have always made the choice of “NOT” having a Dog live with me. I hate the urine the crap & I have made the “Choice” of not having my home smell like a kennel, to say nothing for the noise and destruction they cause to home furnishings. This rule has served me well until my 8 year old son & wife begged me to buy a puppy.The only other experiences I have had is watching over family and friends dogs while they were on vacation etc, and I have only done that with the dogs within “THEIR” residence..NOT mine. So my son and wife found a puppy for only $250 and they promised to take care of him, they said it would be cheap..they said. To date: $3200 carpets, $950 pianio leg repair, $1500 couch replacement, untold back yard damage, $kitchen chair replacement, $390 training, 30 plus sleepless nights, $400 assorted items, crate, dishes, food. $400 Vet bills..and on and on.

I rent a home and put down a $600 deposit. I had a 9 month lease, I then signed a new month to month lease after the 9 month had expired (it was a new lease not just going month to month). I moved out and it took the landlord a few weeks to do a walk through. He said everything was great (I had spent $250 have the carpets and house cleaned professionally). He has nothing but great things to say about us. I asked for the deposit and he said the depoait was money to hold the house (we gave the deposit 11 days before we moved in, since we were selling our home and moving long distance), the deposit was not for secuirty reasons just to hold the place.
I was polite and said I believed deposits were for making sure the house was damage free and rent was paid up, he agreed the home was fine and the rent was all paid.
I pointed out the second lease says the deposit we paid earlier would transfer to the new lease.
he said he would get back to us, he was headed on vacation.
It has been a week with no communication, how should Iproceeed. Is it worth fighting or going to court?
I bought a home again so I won;t be renting again.
I took a video and pictures of the home before I moved in, and I took an extensive video and over 100 pictures when I moved out. Since it took him so long for the walk through I had members of the home owners association walk through before I moved.
The orginal lease says a $600 deposit is required and then states the day it was paid. The next line states there would be a $600 pet deposit and then next to that we signed stating we had no pets and that it was N/A.
The second lease just states that the deposit carries over to the new lease and states the date we paid the deposit. Why would it carry over if it was a holding deposit??
The lease was just one of those forms you print off the internet. The landlord is his first time renting (it was his vacation/golf house).

This girl whom I had quite a bit of history with wanted to go on a trip with me before she flies home next month. The thing is, she’s been keeping me on the edge with really indecisive moments. She’s come out so many reasons like she’s afraid that since we had some sort of history together, she’s not too sure if its a good idea to actually sleep in the same room while we are on vacation (we wanna share cos its cheaper but I’m making sure we are going on 2 separate single bed). She’s also worried if her dad’s gonna allow her to go. (she’s 21 though) Then she also comes out with a whole load of reasons that its a waste of money and stuff if she goes ahead with the trip.

I can see that she doesn’t seem to enthusiastic about going. So naturally, to cut short her dilemma and my whole anxiety about if she’s gonna go or not, I said why don’t we just cancel the trip since there’s so much problems. I told her I’m fine and totally understands if she decides not to go.
But then she would spring back and say that she really wants to go for the vacation.

I don’t get it.

She spends all the time giving reasons to herself why she shouldn’t be going on a trip and yet when I tell her to forget about it totally, she would say otherwise.

What’s her point here? I don’t like to be left in the lurch.

Andrew Johnsons boyhood home. What was wrong with these people? Wood must have been really cheap back then. The eastern seaboard had a Forrest the size of France. It couldn’t have been that they were frittering away there money on big screen TV’s and vacations to Disney.

When my husband and I met we were both going through divorces (we had dated years ago before either of married other people). We began planning our future. I left my home of 15 yrs and moved into his home, both my children came with me leaving everything. His exwife moved 1 mile away so their daughter woudn’t have alot of change. He got joint custody and I got full custody. Well I am bitter and angry all the time cause he give his ex everything she wants. She got 30,000 dollars out of the house, 1/2 his pension, $700 a month in child support, he pays 1/2 her babysitter bill (she is almost 14!!) He pays half her extra curricular which includes horseback lessons 3 days a week, guitar once a week, horse camp every summer and his daughter gets constant activities, vacations, always has a friend with her, and he will not enforce any responsibility even to care for all her pets she begged for. She is living a carefree completely responsibility free life. Problem is I still have to pay for my home I left cause it hasn’t sold and I am reestablishing my business I closed at my old home and reopened in his home. I sold everything to get by. He does not support me but pays the household bills in “his” house, mortgage, utilities etc. Problem is he is in massive debt. I tell him to stop giving so much to his ex and cut his support in 1/2 because his daughter with us as much as her mom but he get sooooo angry at me. Tells me that is the deal he made with his ex and he will never change it. I am at the point of wanting a divorce, what do I do. He is turning out to be a selfish jerk. Our house is falling apart, we have a ton of debt and he won’t budge.

My husband and I never got a honey moon. Now we have a chance to take a small vacation to somewhere near by. We live in Kansas City and have thought about St. Louis and Branson but were wondering there was anyhwere cheap we could basicaly hole up for the weekend, But Still get back home quickly in a emergency? We just got back from vacation and we rents a house that had lots of trees and mosquitoes. He’s been itching a lot since we got home and on our last day on vacation. He’s itching in his chest, chin, and on top of his head and around that area. a few times on his back and paws. I was wondering what i can give him to stop itching. Also i thought maybe dry skin since he went into the lake about 3-4 times. Thought maybe it was dry skin. Don’t wanna take him to the Vet they aren’t cheap but if i half to I have to i don’t want him to suffer. Btw he’s a Beagle, 1 and a half years old.
I forgot to mention that his heartworm medication as flea protection. I don’t know how much but it says flea protection. Its called sentinal or something like that.

I went on vacation to Florida with my friend and his family one year. His aunt from back home called, because she was driving by their house and saw that people were in their house. A few minutes later, my friends mom came into the place we were staying yelling Riiiiiiichiiiiiiiieee!!! Her and my friends brother Richie started screaming at each other. All we could hear was yelling and banging from upstairs. Turns out, my friends brother sold the keys to his house to his friends for the week. $100 up front, and $100 when he got back.
